Similarly, I cant find my shoes will not garner much sympathy. The electricity went out and I cant open my garage door.  Even if youre not particularly handy, it shouldnt be too difficult to disable to automatic garage door. Alternatively, consider other transportation options, such as a cab or a ride with a friend.
